Setup
- Go to Settings → Integrations → Slack
- Click Connect Slack
- Select your Slack workspace
- Choose a default channel for notifications
- Configure which companies trigger alerts via Automations
Configuring Alerts
Slack notifications are triggered through Automations:- Go to Automations in Snitcher
- Create a new automation
- Set your trigger (e.g., “New company identified”)
- Add a segment filter (e.g., “Enterprise companies”)
- Add the Send to Slack action
- Choose the channel

- Verify the integration shows as “Connected”
- Check that you have an active automation with Slack action
- Ensure the segment filter isn’t too restrictive
- Verify the Snitcher bot is in the target channel

For private channels, invite the Snitcher bot by typing
/invite @Snitcher in the channel.
